What is your NorthAble DIAS?
NorthAble is a not-for-profit community organisation established in 1990. We are Northland's largest disability information centre, offering free services.

 What we do?
Our trained and qualified staff provide friendly, independent disability information and advice. We are happy to visit organisations or community groups anywhere within Te Tai Tokerau Northland and present on disability information or any of the NorthAble services available.  

Who can use our service?
People with disabilities, family, whanau, aiga, caregivers, providers and the general public.

 What can you ask us?
We are happy to assist and answer any of your questions. Our aim is to provide information that is relevant and useful to you.

NorthAble disability information and advisory service exists to help you. We have a wide knowledge and experience of disability. We can link you to a range of information, including:

Information Consultant sharing information

• Equipment and funding options
• Support organisations and groups
• Education 
• Recreation 
• Government departments
